M.I.D.A.S. Automation is an acronym for ‘Motion, Integration and Discrete Automation Services’. We are a STEM company that specializes in all the components necessary to make one or more machines work together in manufacturing processes. A customer will come to us with a concept of what they need, and we set out to design a machine that will perform in the way they ask. We also look at existing processes and identify real cost saving measures that can benefit from automation. There are many STEM disciplines involved within our company and those include exact sciences like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science and physics as well as abstract thinking to solve issues not immediately quantifiable in nature. Specifically, we work with robotics in jobs that would tend to cause harm to its’ human counterpart; control systems to make machines work autonomously and vision related systems to provide fast quality inspections or guide the motion of robotics. We can scale our operations by networking with other area integrators and machine shops; importantly, this allows us to offer cost effective solutions and services by maintaining a low cost overhead.
